Why Sauna

Sauna has been used for centuries for a reason. It works.

Regular sauna use can:

  • Ease sore muscles and joint stiffness
  • Support circulation and cardiovascular health
  • Improve sleep quality
  • Reduce stress and mental fatigue
  • Encourage real rest in a world that rarely allows it

Beyond the science, there is something older and harder to measure. Sauna gives you permission to stop scrolling, stop rushing, and sit with heat and silence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this safe for beginners?

Yes. Sauna is for listening to your body, not pushing it. We provide guidance and encourage breaks and hydration.

What about rain or snow?

The sauna runs beautifully in all weather and some even say it’s best on a cold day. That is part of the magic.

What should I bring?

A swimsuit or towel, sandals, and water. A hat for outside cooldowns can be nice in winter.

How hot does it get?

Typically between 150° and 180°F, depending on how you like it.

Did you build the sauna yourself?

Sadly not. But we did design it with our friends at New England Amish Saunas. It was built by hand atop a modern trailer in rural upstate New York.

Ready to Sauna?

Whether we meet you at your driveway or by the water, the invitation is the same.

Come warm up. Let the day slow down. Leave a little more yourself than when you arrived.
